Then as we were leaving, the bartender called to me by name and he was a former middle school student from over 20 years ago, so we had a chance to catch up with each other and our families. All this just made Wonderful Wednesday even more Wonderful! Thank you, Trio, we'll be back! Get this: we had less than an hour to eat. There was a wedding we had to get to, but we wanted to eat something special together before we all parted ways. We found Trio in a book at the hotel and decided to try it out.
Remember that this was pm on a Friday night. We were seated immediately and we mentioned to our server that we we're in a bit of a rush. Within minutes, we were served bread and drinks. We ordered quickly and our food was out surprisingly fast. Portions were excellent.
I ordered the Carbonara, and it was downright delicious. The friends with me also enjoyed the dishes. Honestly, I would come back here just for their bread.
It was delicious, topped with a generous amount of parmesan. Worst pizza I have ever had and my husband agrees! He's not picky Our waitress told us they were 8 inch pizzas so we got two.
They are more like 12" pizzas and one pizza would be plenty for two people. This does not taste like brick oven pizza and the crust isn't thin either. Honestly it tasted like a frozen pizza with cheap mozzarella cheese. Maybe their other food is better Our waitress was nice but I wish we would have been advised differently on the pizza. I was very impressed with the pizza and how fast everything came out! The bartender was so helpful which was great. The beer flight was a great deal, fair prices! My boyfriend took me here on Valentine's Day and I was expecting it to take forever!!!! I was so wrong. We were in and out of this restaurant in 40 minutes on one of the busiest nights of the year!
I was so impressed. I got the meat lasagna and it was amazing as always it's my go to dish and my boyfriend got the lobster ravioli when I took a bite of his my eyes got so wide.
I was blown away with how amazing it tasted. And don't even get me started on their cheesy bread lol!! I wish I could have this place every night for dinner. Found a table easily on a Friday night. A bit loud in here so keep that in mind when going with a group you want to be able to talk to!
